Here at Cornerstone, we are deeply saddened by the devastation Hurricane Harvey has taken on the people of Houston and surrounding areas. With the hardest days of rebuilding still to come, and the devastation of the hurricane making landfall in Louisiana, we believe God is asking us to take action.
In James 2:14-17, we are challenged to live our faith not just in word, but in deed. “If one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?”
Please join us in answering the call of Christ to help our brothers and sisters in need by giving to our Hurricane Harvey flood relief fund now. Monies received will be used to assist in clean up, repair and recovery efforts.
Living generously isn’t about money. It’s about transformation.
Your generosity changes lives—we see Jesus’ transforming power at work every day through healed families, restored faith, and stronger communities. But it also changes your life. When we put God above material things, we declare our trust and faith in him and invite his blessings into our lives
Living generously isn’t a transaction. It’s a relationship.
The Bible teaches us a baseline standard for giving: the tithe. When we give the first 10% of our income to the church, we put God first in our lives. But it’s not about the transaction—it’s about putting our relationship with God above everything else. Tithing is the foundation of our giving—an act of worship that expresses our gratitude, faith, and love for God and others.
Budget more and worry less! Managing money wisely will help you honor God with your finances! After just 3 months of budgeting 84% of people say they feel more in control of their money.
START TODAY—TAKE THE 90-DAY TITHE CHALLENGE.
We believe wholeheartedly that God blesses those who live generously. So we want to issue a challenge: Tithe for three months and see what happens. And here’s our promise to you: If you don’t start to see a transformation in your heart or in your life, we will refund 100% of your tithe. No questions asked.
Living generously isn’t a one-time thing. It’s a lifestyle.
God has called us to live generously. We do this when we respond to God by supporting the needs of the church, community and world—when we serve others and share our time, talents and finances. We do this when we pray for people, show love, and live each day with God’s wisdom. We do this by celebrating what God is doing—in our church and in the lives of others.
